At times of personal loss and grief, there are many things to think about, and many ways in which you may be looking for support and help.
Whether you wish to arrange a ceremony for a funeral or a memorial (for example, after a direct cremation) I can help you in the following ways to prepare for and lead the occasion at a venue of your choice.
Taking time to listen to you
I will take time to sit with you and listen carefully as you tell me about your loved one and their life.
Helping you to prepare
I will work with you to create a personal and memorable occasion that truly reflects the life and times of your loved one. I can advise you on any special elements which you would like to include, such as music, readings or other features.
Writing tributes
If you wish, I will write and deliver a fitting tribute to your loved one. I will send a copy of the tribute for your approval before the event. You may, of course, write and give your own tribute – I am happy to stand ready should you need help with its delivery on the day.
Leading the ceremony for the funeral or memorial
I will lead a warm, friendly and calm ceremony for the funeral or memorial – with respect, dignity, sensitivity and compassion. If you would like to receive a copy of any printed materials accompanying the occasion, I can arrange this for you.
